We have decided to save the traditional Mannheim Go tournament, because our goal is to offer fun, creative and beautiful Go games in Baden.

Our greatest challenge was finding an affordable and available location for the tournament. Our solution: the Neckarstadt Community Center (Bürgerhaus Neckarstadt), where the Mannheim Chess Club also plays. We are hoping to cover part of these expenses by lowering the entry fee to 10 € and thereby attracting a larger number of players. This 20th edition of the “{{lang|de|Mannheimer Aji}}” will again be a fivefour round McMahon tournament. With time control (60 minutes, Canadian overtime 20 stones/5 minutes) we remain in the A Class according to the EGF-classification.

Nach der 2. Runde gibt es einen Vortrag von Profispieler Eodeokdung Lee (1p Flag of South Korea.svg) zu „AlphaGo und Go“. Herr Lee steht auch während des ganzen Turniers für Fragen zur Verfügung.

All games will again be played with quality equipment and digital timers. There will be prize money for the top three finishers (1st place: 100 €), as well as prize money for players with at least four wins, three money prizes for young players, and small material prizes for all young players (U11/U15/U19).<ref>Die Einteilung U11/U15/U19 ist unabhängig vom Geburtstag, Spieler mit
